my QT learning:Psalm 7:11-16
I suppose we have all had our encounters with manipulative ppl & it's not pleasant. These are ppl who shape truth, bend situations and circumstances, and devise schemes to make sure that they get their own way at others' expense. We have to be extremely wise when we deal with schemers & manipulators.
We need to heed the old warning: "Be careful whom u trust." We live in a fallen world & unfortunately too many of us are gullible. We get pulled to these domineering personalities and into being used up spat out. But, don't assume that these dishonest manipulators will not be held accountable.
Psalm 7:14-16 has a word for these ppl. "Do you really want to pay the price?" Galatians 6:7-8 describes the law of sowing and reaping. It's not just us. It could be the ppl close to us that will reap the harvest of evil and manipulation. We're not so sure we wanna pay tt price. Likewise if we treat ppl with love and consideration (even if it is not a benefit to us), we will reap a harvest of blessing and favor.
We are called to do what is right and not what is convenient or personally beneficial. Rmb we will reap what we sow.
