My QT learning:James 4:6
Did we know that there are some things we can do knowingly or unknowingly tt actually repel GOD's presence in our lives? There are times when HE will not show up, when we turn HIM off and push HIM away. If we want to make choices tt actively attract GOD's presence in our lives, then we've got to understand where the real war is. It's inside. The real problem is pride.
The good news is James 4:6 promises that "GOD opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." In the midst of this big problem, HE is tirelessly on our side. HE meets our needs. HIS resources are never-ending. HIS patience is never exhausted. HIS initiative never stops. HIS generosity knows no limit. HE gives more grace.
GOD is willing to do everything possible to free us from the consequences of our pride if we come to HIM with an attitude of dependence. The question is, "Are we willing to let HIM do the things that HE needs to do to make that change in our lives?" Abandon yr pride and embrace the grace offered to the humble.
HI ppl... this might be a very simple and common verse to all of us... but do we really meditate on it and evaluate our lives and live according to the BIBLE? reading and obeying is two very different things! dont just be reader of GOD's word but be doers of HIS word! all glory to GOD! =) I've been paid for in FULL 10:40 PM
